15 September 1873 — Eastnor Castle, nr. Ledbury, Herefordshire | |
Monday. 15th [September 1873]. With great regret we left Eastnor by 1.15 train & returned to Langham House where we got about 7½. We found Grannie had arrived there at 5 to stay this week with us & Arthur was also waiting to see us. He was engaged to dinner & so promised to come back to breakfast tomorrow with us. Found Susan Hambro is in town having just come from Schwalbach & is staying a few days in town. | |
