Wednesday. 10th [December 1873]. Worked at screen. Went out driving with Dss de la Torre & went to all the jewellers’ shops & did not get home till after 5. Read aloud in the eveng. It is true the Serranos’ nephew Genl Lopez Dominguez is named to the command of the troops against Cartagena but he is young & inexperienced. | |
