6 January 1874 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 6th [January 1874]. Copied a long despatch and a letter to send by messenger who leaves tonight. At 2 I went with Aurelie who fetched me to go to the Quartett concert put off from Sunday & afterwards we walked up & down in front of the Palace. Clarita & Mr Hunt came this morning to bid me good bye as they start for Paris tonight. Played & read in the eveng. | |
