3 March 1874 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 3rd [March 1874]. I did not go out & put off Esquivel. I sent the carriage to Emilia & begged her to go & buy some stuff for sheets for us to send to the sick & wounded & blankets. Mr OConnor paid me a visit. Emilia came here with the blankets &c & we had tea together & the carriage took her home. Mme Moret called on me. | |
