21 March 1874 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 21st March [1874]. Got up late & I did not go out all day. Mme Koudriaffsky paid me a long visit & invited us to dine with them next week. Emilia & Mr Gayangos came later. We dined with the Vernouillets. Not a bad dinner but their appartment is very small. Isabel Madrazo came in the eveng & she & I sang a little by heart & left early. | |
