26 June 1874 — Paris | |
Friday. 26th [June 1874]. We arrived at 5 AM & Mr Belard met us. We went at once to the Rue des Dauphin, had some tea & went to bed till 10 when we got up & had breakfast & then I went off to DuCroquet’s to try on my gowns which were not a bit ready. I was so little tired that after dinner we went to the Hippodrome which was so full that we cd not get reserved places. | |
