14 July 1874 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Tuesday. 14th [July 1874]. I breakfasted in bed with Blanche. Ivor came to say goodbye to us in the morning & gave me a ruby ring he had got me. There was a party at Chiswick given by P. & Pss of Wales to wh we were invited but did not go. The M. S. & Blanche went. I remained alone so I got them to drop me at Connies on their way to Chiswick & I spent a couple of hours with her– Went to try to buy a hat & then home. Dined at home & went to bed early. | |
