14 August 1874 — Venice | |
Friday. 14th August [1874]. We went to the Lido in the morning & had another swimming lesson & we took Idita Hurtado with us & we bathed together. In the afternoon Henry took me to Murano as it is the last day I cd go as the men have a fortnight’s holiday from tomorrow but we returned in time for me to go back to Campo T & paint there. | |
