Tuesday. 1st September [1874]. Had to get up very early. The Dragonetti’s arrived soon after 7 having driven abt an hours drive. We had breakfast & went off by 8.50 train & went thro the Mont Cenis to Macon where we slept at Hotel d’Europe. | |
