30 October 1874 — Madrid | |
Friday. 30th [October 1874]. Painted. Mme Bauer called at 2 to fetch me in her carriage & we went to the Buen Retiro that she might see the new drive. We got out & walked a little. Met Henry riding there. We came home abt 4. Emilia & Mariquilla called at 5. We went to the Fernan Nuñez in the evening but there were very few people there & it was dull. | |
