3 December 1874 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 3rd [December 1874]. Koudriaffsky called in the morning. In the afternoon Missie came to spend the afternoon so I took her out with me. We went to see Mme de Canelaux who receives on Thursday afternoons & met there a good many diplomats. We then went to fetch Henry who was walking in the Recolletos & came home. We dined at the Presidencia a small dinner– Chaudordy was there. Reception afterwards. | |
