Friday. 4th [December 1874]. It was very cold. At 2 went out & fetched Mme de Canelaux we went to the Gallery—met O’Conor there who went over it with us—& coming away we met Chaudordy & all his embassy. In the evening we walked round to see the Bauers. | |
