13 February 1875 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 13th [February 1875]. Painted all the morning & had lesson. Bernadine called to ask if we wd take her to Fernan Nuñez ball this eveng. Went to Retiro & walked with Henry & went to see Clarita who is nearly well. Went with hair powdered to the ball. When we went for the Ayltons they were not ready so sent the carriage back for them. The ball was very pretty a great many people were poudré. We stayed till 1 o’cl. | |
