24 February 1875 — Madrid | |
Wednesday. 24th [February 1875]. The Viuda de Herraiz came & I was so busy talking to her painting &c that I forgot I ought to have breakfasted with the Dss de la T. Moret called to see Henry I left them & went to see Emilia found her in & took her out to the dress makers to see a gown of hers that I wanted to copy & then she met her father in the Recolletos & I Henry. It rained & sleeted so we came home early. Maffei came to call so we begged him to come & dine wh he did. | |
