26 February 1875 — Madrid | |
Friday. 26th [February 1875]. Painted all the morning. It was a pouring wet day. Had tea early as Mrs Hamilton came to see me & stayed a long time. Afterwards Emilia & Mme Sanchez Beaño called & then Mr Aylton. Played backgammon & went to bed early with indigestion. | |
