Thursday. 4th March 1875. Esquivel came & prepared the board for me on which I am going to paint a corner of this room. It was a bad day & I did not go out so I amused myself with tinkering up some old sketches. Mr Hunt & Inzenga dined with us & we had music in the eveng to wh a good many people came.
