30 March 1875 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 30th March [1875]. I got up rather late not being very well & did not go out. Mme de Broutelles came to see me & stayed nearly all the afternoon till her husband fetched her. M. Aylton & B. came to call. In the evening we walked to Bauers. It was very cold & windy. The Broutelles were there & some men. The Boxes for Venice were packed. | |
