23 August 1875 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Monday. 23rd August [1875]. Painted in morning. Monty drove us & Adeline to Athpiddle in the afternoon. We saw a very pretty little church there with curious carved seats wh is also being repaired there. Then we went to see Monty & Henry fish. They caught a few trout & we got some lovely water cresses. | |
