16 September 1875 — Paris | |
Thursday. 16th [September 1875]. Mrs Tennyson was at this hotel passing thro’ Paris on her way to England. I went down to her room & sat with her some time & we talked over old days at Freshwater. Later I went out for a walk with Henry in search of French books on the other side of the river. We went to dine at Champeaux & then went to the Cirque. | |
