19 November 1875 — Madrid | |
Friday. 19th [November 1875]. Was better. Had painting lesson– The Brooks called to say goodbye as they start for Tangiers tonight. The Canelaux called. The day was splendid & we sat with open windows. Drove to the Retiro & got out & walked. The Aylton girls called. In the eveng we walked to the Bauers & back & found them at home. | |
