29 February 1876 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 29th [February 1876]. Painted in the morng. Mme Hatzfeldt came & brought her little girl Nelly to stay with us as the German Governess has typhus fever & it is said to be dangerous to let the child be in the house. We put her & her nurse up in the tower rooms wh are very comfortable. Mr Hunt came at tea time & later Clarita after she had driven in the Prado. | |
