Thursday. 16th [March 1876]. Painted all morng. In afternoon we went to the Cortès to hear Castelar speak & to insist upon having our places & not allowing Mme Ratazzi to monopolize them. She retired into a corner in a rage & made a martyr of herself. Music as usual in the eveng. | |
