Monday. 22nd [May 1876]. Had hard work to finish all the cutting out for Jacinta—arranged & packed—& recd visits from Ayltons, Bauers &c. We dined a little before 7 & went to the station to leave by the 8.15 train for Barcelona– We had a nice saloon carriage given us– Montesino came to see us off also Hatzfeldt & Nelly, d’Antas’, Walshams, Hunts &c | |
