2 June 1876 — Baveno | |
Friday. 2nd [June 1876]. We left Baveno by the early steamer & went to Venice. At Milan we met Mr Burton at the station who came to talk to Henry abt pictures he was buying for our National Gallery. Blanche & Edward stayed at Verona. We got to Venice at 7.45. Mr Malcolm met us. Tired & went to bed after dinner. | |
