17 June 1876 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. [17th June 1876]. Woke with a headache & had to keep my bed till after 1 then got on sofa in my boudoir. Henry brought home 2 lovely silver sconces for my boudoir & I wrote to recommend Ivor to buy the other 4– I was able to be at dinner & took a little row after dinner. Squire left by 11 PM train for Munich on a fishing expedition. | |
