18 July 1876 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 18th [July 1876]. Made cigarettes till breakfast. After breakfast Brown called– At 2 went to S. Trovaso to paint till 5. Came home & finished Chapel of S. Trovaso. At 7.30 Henry & I went to station to meet Morelli who has come to stay with us so we did not dine till 8.30. I was so tired that I went to bed when the others went out– | |
