31 July 1876 — Paris | |
Monday. 31st [July 1876]. Woke with a headache & had to stay in bed– Hill went out to shop & Henry went to the Embassy. At 3 got better—had tea & got up– Went for a drive with Henry & did a little shopping. Dined with Lord Lyons. Met Mr Rivers Wilson– Sartoris (who has been moved from Madrid to Paris) & our old attaché Goschen– Had a pleasant eveng talking with 2 latter. | |
