Saturday. 7th October [1876]. Mr Dawson called, also Herr Pastor Liedner. Cut out & prepared shield for the centre of the small reposteros wh I have to finished. Drove out with Henry at 5. Left cards & took a turn in Prado wh was very full—saw the King pass in state for the “Salve” at the Atocha. Worked in eveng. | |
