Thursday. 7th [December 1876]. Copied letter for Henry. Pouring wet day. Wrote letters to send by Messenger & sent parcel. Went out at 3. Took Mariquilla some cod liver oil. Went to Mme d’Antas who recd & saw a maid I thought of taking if Mrs Beale leaves. Went to call on Mme Koudriaffsky who saw me in her bedroom as she is laid up on sofa. Ida Bauer came to tea– In the eveng we went to Bauers met there Canovas, the Hunts, the Belles &c. Stayed till 12.30. | |
