Wednesday. 17th [January 1877]. Did some copying for Henry; did not go out. Dss de la T & Conchita called & had tea– Afterwards came Ida Bauer—then Emilia—then Nicholas. Brehm came & pronounced that I have fever & Henry also—gave us both quinine– Henry could not go to Mme la Romana’s ball as he intended. | |
