Saturday. 3rd February [1877]. Painted in the morning & copied papers for Henry to send by the messenger who left in the afternoon. Took Clarita out driving. We went to walk in the Retiro Gardens– She came back with me & stayed to tea. Emilia dined again & we did the Guide till 11– Henry went to a party at Russian Leg: | |
