18 February 1877 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 18th [February 1877]. Did not go to church—did a little mending to the old silk chairs– The Phipps – Dawson & Fitch dined with us. Hatzfeldt went to Paris & the Montebellos to Pau. The d’Antas came to take leave of us as they leave tomorrow for Lisbon where they stay a fortnight before he goes off to his post at London. | |
