8 March 1877 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 8th [March 1877]. Messenger left. I copied for Henry. Flower maker came & I sent 60 carnations to Alice Rate– 2nd guitar lesson. Esquivel came & arranged my paints for the journey. Hatzfeldt dined with us. At 9.30 Silvela came & they worked at Zulu protocol again. I wrote letters. | |
