22 April 1877 — Constantinople | |
Sunday. 22nd [April 1877]. I stayed in bed all day. Dr D. came to see me. Henry went to church in the morng & in the afternoon he drove out of town to see Ahmet Vefik Pasha & only came home to dinner. I got up for dinner. We had Messrs Jocelyn, Ashburnham, Smijth, Kennedy, Sandison, the Barings, Ct Pisani to dine. | |
