After lunch we went in the steam launch to Candilli & took Mrs W. Hanson & Miss Boyd down with us, as they came up to the service. We went 1st to Mrs W. Hanson whose house is on the water’s edge– Had tea with her & then she sent me up in a chair to Mrs Arthur Hanson who lives ½ way up. After paying her a visit & admiring her fernery we went up to the top to old Mrs Hanson’s where Mr Henry Hanson met us his mother being away in town. We walked thro’ her garden to Mrs Henry Hanson’s wh is even higher up to pay her a visit. We then returned to Mrs W. H. & reembarked to go home.
