Saturday. 23rd [June 1877]. Was out in the morng seeing after the making of the fernery & in the afternoon sat out in the garden with Henry. News that the Russians have crossed the Danube at the Debroutcha. I played lawn tennis with Messrs Smijth & Elliott. Adl Hobart & Corti came to tea in the eveng. | |
