27 August 1877 — Therapia | |
Monday. 27th [August 1877]. Had in 2 Greek girls from the village & made them do nothing but cut out shirts downstairs while we worked above. Mrs Parnis & her daughters helped. At 5 we took our work in the garden & played also lawn tennis. The new Minister for F.A. dined with us Server Pasha—also the d’Ehrenhoffs. In the evening dancing till 12 as usual. | |
