13 September 1877 — Therapia | |
Thursday. 13th [September 1877]. Mrs Willie came up to luncheon. Mr Boyce came up from town to talk over the arrangements of the Embassy & I walked in the garden with him & he stayed to lunch. Hill & Major de Winton & I took stock of the shirts we have & found there were over 1700. At 3.30 I went in a caique to Buyukdéré to leave cards & went on board the “Sapho” Prince Colonna Sciarra’s yacht; came home to play lawn tennis at 4.30. | |
