7 January 1878 — Constantinople | |
Monday. 7th [January 1878]. Cut out clothes for Refugees. Mrs W. Hanson came to lunch. Mr Gribble called just before lunch. Unpacked knic knacs & arranged them in urnas. Played tennis in afternoon & had a good practise under Arthur & Mr Smijth. The Serkis’, Grand Vizier, Server P., Ct Corti, Mr Sandison, Mr Jocelyn, the Genl, Arthur, Zichy dined. Dancing till 12. | |
