7 March 1878 — Constantinople | |
Thursday. 7th [March 1878]. Hill took Jerry off to see a wedding in the church & in the afternoon again to buy a toy gun. Played lawn tennis. Spent a long time with Mrs de Winton helping Hill to comb her beautiful hair wh was fearfully entangled. Mr Sandison & Capt. Ricketts dined with us. | |
