13 March 1878 — Constantinople | |
Wednesday. 13th [March 1878]. Wrote for the messenger & mail. The General Dickson left to go & visit Adl Commerell at Gallipoli. He went with Hobart P. who gave him a lift in the [illegible word]. Adl & Mrs Hornby came to stay with us. We invited some few people to dine but 2 of them failed us—& we only had Mr Young. | |
