14 June 1878 — Therapia | |
Friday. 14th [June 1878]. I sent Hill to town to buy bird cages. A post came in & one went out for wh I wrote. Mrs A. Hanson came to lunch. In the middle of lunch up came the messenger in the “Falcon.” I recd my 2 gowns from Paris by him. Henry rode. I sat out in the tennis ground & watched the play– The Genl & Mr Chermside came to dinner when it was just over having been to Korfez with Mrs A. Hanson. I sang in the eveng. | |
