Sunday. 7th [July 1878]. Mr Gribble was ill & we had no service. The dentist M. Dorigny came from town & worked at my teeth & pulled out one for Henry who had to hurry away to go off to town in the launch. Mr Arthur Hanson & the 2 d’Ehrenhoff girls called having come over to see if there was a service here. Rustem Bey Govr of the Lebanon & old Dr Millingen dined with us besides the Embassy & Mr Chermside. | |
