12 September 1878 — Therapia | |
Thursday. 12th September [1878]. Stayed in bed to rest myself all the morng. Miss Maynard came to bid me goodbye as she is going to be married on Wedy & to leave the same day for France taking her mother with her. Afternoon I got on the sofa & dressed & went down to dinner in the eveng. Ld George & Mr L Gower dined. | |
