Wednesday. 9th [October 1878]. I went out & painted in the terrace. May cut out garments for the refugees. In the afternoon we played lawn tennis. Hobart P. came to stay with us. Hy & I dined at the French Embassy—an official dinner given to Hatzfeldt. | |
