Monday. 28th [October 1878]. Henry went off to the porte early. I did not get up till 12. May & I lunched alone. She played lawn tennis. Henry returned abt 5 & had tea with me. Mr Forster, Mr Spry & Mr Kay of the Antelope dined with us. May played in the eveng. | |
