Monday. 4th November [1878]. Henry went down to the Porte in steam launch abt 10. A thunderstorm came on & we had some heavy rain. I practised guitar & copied out music. Lunched alone & did not go out. Henry returned abt 4. Mr Smijth & Mallet dined with us. Sang. | |
