Tuesday. 5th [November 1878]. Copied music, practised and cut out clothes for refugees. May & Mrs Willy Hanson came to lunch. Played tennis till 5. Read Lecky History of England in 15 Century. Mr Wallace, M. Denant, Sir Alfred Sandison, Mr Kennedy & Mr Ashburnham dined with us. | |
