Thursday. 21st [November 1878]. All our new horse clothes were stolen out of the stables in the night. Got up late– Messenger arrived (Mr Woodford). Played tennis in the afternoon with Sir Dallas, Mr Smijth & L. Gower. I was not well eno’ to pay much. Came in & copied letters for Henry. Sir G. Dallas & Mr Woodford dined. | |
