13 February 1879 — Constantinople | |
Thursday. 13th [February 1879]. Henry better & up from 11 till 7. Abt 12 o’cl Lady Dickson came & fetched me & she & Mrs Willy & I took a turn in the garden. It was very hot in the sun & we cd not walk without parasols. Mme Caratheodory & Pss Nazlie called after lunch to ask after Henry. At 3.30 went out driving in the Victoria intending to go to the Sweet Waters but the weather changed & it became windy & dusty so we turned off & came round by Yildiz & home. Hobart P. & Sir Alfred dined. | |
